I needed this! I'm currently on horror-movie-withdrawal after doing a 3 day (40 or so hours of watching time over a 72 hour period, 30 or so hours for sleeping, eating, etc.) marathon of a bunch of my favorite classic horror films (both slasher & psychological thriller) and their remakes and/or sequels. I'm working on an article that explores the question of why the horror genre, which is a gamble for movie-makers because it can go bad in so many ways (not enough blood, too much blood, not realistic enough, too realistic, not creepy, too creepy, too vulgar, poorly conceived plot, no plot, flat and unbelievable characters, stereotypical display of gender roles, plus everything that can make any movie bad - bad screenwriting, bad acting, poor production, bad directing, bad effects, etc.), has amassed millions of fans (myself included) and stood the test of time so much that old (generally low-production movies) are adored by new fans of the younger generation so much that the remakes (even those that make a horror movie into a horrid movie) typically do well sales-wise.

After my marathon, I, of course had to return to the reality of my monotonous life and.... well let's just say that I needed a small dose of horror to get me through till I could get off of work, get to thee video store to rent some films, & go home. I just knew somebody I followed on dA would have a great piece of art that would satisfy my itch! And, voila! - You didn't disappoint! A ton of your pieces were just what I needed (and I Favorited them all), but this one may be my favorite horror one.... maybe.

Thanks for giving me my "fix!"
